Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Internverse, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

These terms apply to all users: students, companies, and visitors.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. By using Internverse, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you have the authority to accept these terms.

Company accounts may only be created by authorised representatives of the organisation.

Students may create a profile, browse listings, and apply to internships at no cost. You are responsible for the accuracy of your profile, including skills, education history, and any supporting materials.

You may not create more than one account or impersonate another person.

Companies may post internship listings subject to our review process and the plan they've subscribed to. All listings must represent genuine internship opportunities at real organisations.

We reserve the right to remove any listing we determine to be misleading, fraudulent, or in violation of these terms without refund. Repeated violations may result in permanent account suspension.

You may not use Internverse to:

- Post false, misleading, or fraudulent listings - Collect or harvest personal data from other users - Send unsolicited messages or spam - Attempt to reverse-engineer or scrape the platform - Circumvent any security measures - Violate any applicable law or regulation

Violations may result in immediate account suspension.

You retain ownership of content you submit to Internverse (your profile, listing copy, messages). By submitting it, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to display and distribute it for the purpose of operating the platform.

You are responsible for ensuring your content does not infringe third-party rights or violate any applicable law.

We aim to keep Internverse available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or take the platform offline temporarily. We are not liable for any losses resulting from downtime.

Internverse is a platform connecting students and companies. We do not guarantee employment outcomes, and we are not a party to any agreement between a student and a company.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

You may close your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice.

Upon termination, your right to use the platform ends immediately.

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-product notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Nigerian courts, unless otherwise required by your local consumer law.
